BYD Unveils Competitive Prices and Varied Choices
BYD, the prominent Chinese auto giant, has recently launched two remarkable editions: Han DM-i Champion and Han DM-p God of War. The Champion Edition is competitively priced between $27000 to $36000, and the God of War Edition comes with a price tag of $42000. Significantly, the Champion Edition’s price saw a reduction of 10,000 yuan, marking an enticing strategy by BYD. This fresh launch signifies BYD’s commitment to broaden their product portfolio, allowing a more diverse selection in the booming EV market.
Exceptional Performance and Features
The Han DM-i Champion Edition now flaunts a pure electric variant with a striking 200km range. On the contrary, the Han DM-p God of War Edition is embellished with the DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system, significantly improving its performance and driving feel.
The Champion Edition, now available in an elegant Glacier Blue shade, comes standard with the FSD variable damping suspension system. Additionally, select models also have the option to be equipped with the DiSus-C intelligent damping body control system, an OTA upgrade planned later this year.
Spacious Design and High-Tech Elements
The Champion Edition impresses with its dimensions: 4975mm in length, 1910mm in width, and 1495mm in height, offering a spacious design with a 2920mm wheelbase.
The vehicle showcases an array of high-tech features, including a high-efficiency heat pump air conditioner and a mobile phone NFC car key. Safety features like the BSD blind spot monitoring system and the W-HUD head-up display make it a strong contender in the market.
Efficient Power and Hybrid System
The new EV employs a plug-in hybrid system, merging a blade battery and a 1.5Ti engine. Notably, BYD has introduced a variant with an extended pure electric range of 200km. The hybrid mode offers an exceptional 1260km range, with an economical fuel consumption rate of just 4.5L per 100 kilometers.
Stylish Exteriors and Luxurious Interiors
The God of War Edition exhibits an exclusive style with BASF’s third-generation black paint. Further enhancing its appeal, it features a special black aluminum powder and glass flakes. The car also includes the War God Edition sports appearance package, enriching its bold look.
Inside, the car exudes luxury with high-end black suede seats and door panels. The interior sports black carbon fiber material, yellow stitching, and gold-yellow safety belts, amplifying its elegance.
Strong Market Response
Following the launch, BYD Auto’s official Weibo account revealed that combined orders for both editions surpassed 8,051 units on the first day, indicating strong market interest in these innovative EV models offered by BYD Auto.
