Sharp, renowned for its dependable and sturdy smartphones, has primarily appealed to the Chinese market. In 2021, it launched a fascinating device, RoBoHoN, reminiscent of your childhood toy robots. On May 29, a distinctive application, compatible with ChatGPT, will augment this one-of-a-kind device, empowering users to construct and disseminate their personalized narratives.
An Innovative Storyteller: RoBoHoN with Integrated ChatGPT
Sharp is in the process of crafting an innovative application, “Story Dreamer,” destined for their robotic mobile phone. This application will offer users the capability to designate story components, such as the characters and predicaments they encounter. With its expressive body language, RoBoHoN will then construct and articulate the story. By referencing the user’s conversational history and location, and merging information from the user’s past explorations, each story promises to be uniquely original. Sharp maintains that users can anticipate “a completely personalized storytelling experience”.
Sharp’s New Conversational App In The Pipeline
Besides Story Dreamer, Sharp is also venturing into another conversational application that harnesses the capabilities of ChatGPT. Although the specifics of this application remain undisclosed, Sharp aims to enlist 100 users for a one-month trial, commencing before June 25. The outcome of this trial will determine the direction of the application’s development.
